Used For:

• Acute musculoskeletal pain with spasm and inflammation

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to aceclofenac, paracetamol, or thiocolchicosidePeptic ulcer, GI bleeding, or severe gastritisSevere hepatic or renal impairmentHeart failure or uncontrolled hypertension (NSAID risk)Pregnancy – especially 2nd and 3rd trimesters (thiocolchicoside and aceclofenac are unsafe)

Side Effects:

• Nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, indigestion, gastritis; Drowsiness, dizziness, mild sedation (due to thiocolchicoside)

Precautions:

• Use with caution in:Elderly patients (higher GI and renal risks); Mild hepatic/renal impairment; Patients on anticoagulants, steroids, or other NSAIDs; Avoid driving or operating machinery (thiocolchicoside may cause drowsiness).; Avoid combining with other paracetamol-containing drugs.; Do not exceed prescribed duration — prolonged thiocolchicoside use may have genotoxic risk.; Monitor liver and kidney function for prolonged therapy.

Dietary Restrictions:

• Take after meals to reduce gastric irritation.Avoid alcohol – increases risk of liver damage (paracetamol) and GI bleeding (NSAID).Avoid smoking and excessive caffeine (aggravates gastritis).Maintain hydration to support renal function.Prefer light, non-spicy diet if gastric upset occurs.
