Contraindications:
Do not use in:Hypersensitivity to Metronidazole or other nitroimidazole derivativesFirst trimester of pregnancy (use only if essential)Active neurological disorders (epilepsy, peripheral neuropathy)Severe liver impairmentChronic alcohol use (risk of severe disulfiram-like reaction)

Precautions:

Dietary Restrictions:
Strictly avoid alcohol (including cough syrups, mouthwashes, fermented foods, etc.) during and for 48 hours after therapy.Take after food with water to minimize nausea.Maintain adequate hydration.Avoid spicy or oily foods if GI upset occurs.Continue full course even if symptoms improve early (to prevent resistance).
