Adult Dosage:

• Apply a thin layer of Candid Cream to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening). Clean and dry the affected area before applying. Massage gently until the cream is absorbed. Continue treatment for 2–4 weeks (or as prescribed). Even if symptoms improve early, continue for a few more days to prevent recurrence.

Contraindications:

• Known hypersensitivity or allergy to clotrimazole or other imidazole antifungals. Open wounds or broken skin at the site of infection. Severe skin irritation or dermatitis from previous antifungal creams.

Precautions:

• For external use only — do not apply inside the mouth, eyes, or vagina unless directed. Wash hands before and after applying the cream. Avoid covering the treated area with airtight dressings unless advised. If using on feet, wash and dry feet thoroughly, especially between toes. Avoid cosmetics, deodorants, or powders on the infected area during treatment. If no improvement after 2 weeks, consult a physician for review.

Dietary Restrictions:

• Candid Cream is topical (external), so no specific dietary restrictions apply. However, to support recovery and prevent recurrent fungal infections: Keep affected areas clean and dry. Avoid tight, synthetic clothing (use cotton garments). Change socks and underwear daily. Avoid excessive sweating or moisture in skin folds. In recurrent fungal infections, reduce excess sugar intake, as fungi thrive in moist and glucose-rich environments.
