Contraindications:
Do not use Azax 500 in:Hypersensitivity to azithromycin, erythromycin, or other macrolide antibioticsSevere liver dysfunction (azithromycin is metabolized in the liver)History of cholestatic jaundice or hepatic impairment after prior macrolide useSevere renal impairment (use with caution)Known QT prolongation or concurrent use of drugs that prolong QT interval (e.g., amiodarone, quinidine)
